Development is a Tool, Not a Religion

August 16th, 2025

Development for me was always a tool that I needed to make my ideas come alive. It was never the main point of attention but merely a way toward the end goal—solving a problem, or rather, offering a solution to what my clients deemed a problem. I totally get that a lot of hard-core developers these days are afraid of AI or resist embracing it. Their whole point of attention was never the goal but the journey itself. It’s like building LEGO vs. admiring the finished piece. Especially as an adult—when you’re not supposed to ‘play’ anymore—you savour the build process much more than the completed construction.

To me personally, AI is a wonderland of possibilities. I’ve never been in a position to execute my ideas so quickly, to build a quick prototype, or even launch something in hours rather than days, weeks, or months. Coming up with ideas was never my problem. Executing them, taking them for a spin was. Well, not anymore.
